WOW.... What a start! What a weekend! What a blast! Thank you Laverstoke Park Farm for having us!

Sorry for not updating my blog yesterday peeps, I was catching up on some well earned zzz's!

Jaye with Carol KirkwoodSo, you may be wondering, how did we start CarFest South on Friday? Only with a cameo appearance on BBC Breakfast that's how! The lovely Carol Kirkwood presented Friday's 6.15am weather bulletin from CarFest's Best of British marquee and The Olive Stall complete with hubby suitably dressed in his monogramed Olive Stall T were in shot a couple of minutes.

Tea VintageWe were calling ourselves 'Rent a Crowd' by now as we were all invited to join the fun and frolics in the Tea Vintage Tent for a cuppa and a sing along for the 7.5am broadcast! Despite our 5.30am wake up call, what a way to start the day - amazing!

One of the things that makes CarFest so special is you, dear readers! We were delighted to receive some great positive feedback on our home grown herb marinated olives, especially our Pitted Mix, Garlic & Basil and CarFest Mix. It is also reassuring to see so many younger children delving into olives and understanding what they like, sometimes to the surprise of their parents.

As a result of the popularity of CarFest Mix, you can now order a pot through our Online Stall. It has been given the description 'Olive Stall Special' but it's the same mix everyone!

And things only got better. This had to be the best CarFest yet. The sun shone on our parade for the most part. This year’s events, cars, fun, food and music were all truly stunning and brilliant.

Red ArrowsFrom the Red Devils, the Red Dragon, the Hill Climb, some amazing cars including Jodie Scheckter in his race winning Ferrari, a flight pass by the fabulous Lancaster bombers, the Red Arrows (simply awesome), together with some brilliant demonstrations in our Britain’s Best marquee from Eastcourt Manor with Sourdough Bread, Yarty Cordials, Wiltshire Chilli Farm Chilli Eating Competition (how brave would you be?).

And the music line up! Well, what can I say! Superb doesn’t cover it. It is difficult when you’re working but we did hear (if not see) Eliza Doolittle, Erasure and the fabulous Kaiser Chiefs, 10CC, Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbot and The Feeling played us out as we were packing up to leave on Sunday.

Kaiser Chiefs with FireworksOh and how could we forget the Firworks display. As the Kaiser Chiefs came to a close there was a surprise in the tail too! An Ice Challenge, where Chris, Alex Jones, Paul Hollywood and James Martin each threw buckets of ice over Ricky.....

So are we looking forward to CarFest 2015? You bet we are!
